Anti UV additive

Anti-UV masterbatch is mostly based on polyethylene and polypropylene. The most destructive part of the sun is UV, which causes photo oxidation or polymer degradation, and with the help of oxygen in the air, this decomposition accelerates. Today, the new generation of anti-UVs with HAIS agents is produced on two types of weights, 13 and 20. In this regard, the optical stabilizer is exposed to this spectrum of sunlight. If nickel compounds were used, which were mostly used in the older generation of anti-UV masterbatch, UV rays would be absorbed and released as heat and fluorescent radiation. However, in today's generation of anti-UV masterbatch that is formulated with HAIS, this radiation is not absorbed but protects the polymer with a radical protection mechanism

Advantages of using anti UV additive masterbatches

Keep the product shiny and shiny and prevent fading and discoloration
Long lasting and maintaining the mechanical properties and physical strength of the product

Applications of anti UV additive masterbatches

Flexible agricultural films
Textile/fiber industry
Cables
